Adopt An Acre

The NCWHF created the Adopt-an-Acre program in 2003 for the purpose of providing additional funding to purchase land to be added to the North Carolina Game Land program.

Adopt-an-Acre has the added attraction of being able to provide matching grant funds for contributions received from the general public, conservation organizations, and corporate donors. This makes each donors money as much as 3x more valuable.

NCWHF has already provided funding to acquire tracts in Caswell, Bladen, Richmond, and Halifax counties. We plan to do more and we welcome your gifts earmarked for this program.
