Causey Farm Wildlife Habitat Study

On August 15, 2022, the North Carolina Wildlife Habitat Foundation provided $25,000 to the Greensboro Science Center to study Wildlife Habitat at our Conservation Easement Causey Farm. The Causey Farm Conservation Easement is located in Liberty, North Carolina and consists of 60 acres of wildlife habitat rehabilitated by Restoration Systems. The study seeks to determine how do wildlife respond to habitat change on stream / wetland restoration projects. Of note, this is the most comprehensive baseline study ever conducted on stream and wetland restoration in North Carolina.
