If you love wildlife, you can help wildlife conservation by purchasing a North Carolina Wildlife Habitat Foundation license plate from the NCDMV.  $10 is given to the NCWHF. What’s more, for every $10 donated from the plates, the effort is increased to a three-for-one gift: that $10 pays for $40 of lands preserved.

More people are discovering what a wonderful state North Carolina is, and with that comes more urbanization. This urbanization is changing the N.C. landscape by replacing family farms and wildlife habitat with asphalt and concrete.

The custom plate with registration starts at $40 plus standard registration fees: $10 goes straight to the NCWHF (which will be quadrupled) and the remainder goes to the DMV Special Registration Plate Account, which helps fund seven-state welcome centers.   Our plate has made it through production and is on the streets as of June 2013!
